Acquiring Photos
Photos can be acquired in a number of ways.
· Opening a file on disk or some other type of storage media by clicking the "Open Image" button on the QuickStart Bar
· Downloaded via the "Download Kodak" button on the QuickStart Bar
· Acquired via TWAIN, using either the "Interactive TWAIN" or "Download TWAIN" buttons on the QuickStart Bar.
Please note that each of these options also has a corresponding item on the File menu.
There is currently a proliferation of cameras that store their images on floppy disks, memory sticks, or other types of removable storage media. It is usually most efficient to acquire your images by either opening files directly from those removable media devices, or preferably, by copying the images from those devices to a folder on your hard drive before opening.
