Adding Your Sketches to Your Forms

As long as a supported Sketch program is installed, sketches can be added directly into Forms from those programs. Currently, various versions of WinSketch, from Jammin’ Software, and Apex IV Windows, from Apex Software, are supported. These products can be purchased from Day One by calling 1-800-438-3291, or directly from those companies.

Note: Do not install your sketch program in a folder with any long file-named folders. For example, if Apex is installed in C:\Program Files\Apex, the integration will not work. It is strongly recommended to use the default installation paths (\SKETCHER for WinSketch, and \APEXWIN for Apex).

The Apex setup procedure will prompt you to make it your default sketch program for your appraisal Forms software. If you say Yes, Apex will be configured as the default sketch program for Nova Forms, provided Nova Forms is installed prior to Apex.

Configure the default Sketch Program:

1.   Select Configuration | Directory Options | Sketch Program from the menu

2.   On the Sketch Program dialog (see figure below), browse to the location where your sketch program is installed.
