AIRD and AppraisalPort Integration

Connect (v5.1 and above) also provides integration with AIRD and AppraisalPort. This functionality is accessed via various items on the Connect menu in Forms (v5.1 and above) as described below.

Receive an order from AppraisalPort and import into Forms:

1.   Start Nova Forms

2.   Select Connect | AppraisalPort

3.   Login to AppraisalPort

4.   For each order, click the "Set up AIREADY Report" button

5.   When prompted, select "open this file from its current location" and click the OK button

6.   If prompted, select the appropriate form type

Upload a completed appraisal to AppraisalPort:

1.   Open the desired file in Nova Forms

2.   Select Connect | Send Appraisal/Report | AIRD / AppraisalPort

3.   After the conversion is complete, the FNC Envelope Uploader dialog (see figure 9-1) will be displayed. Review the converted data by clicking the icons on the left of this dialog.

4.   After reviewing the converted data, click the "Send" drop-down arrow. Note: Before your first upload, some settings must be configured by clicking the "Connections" button. Please consult your AppraisalPort and/or AIRD documentation for this information.

5.   Various filters can be configured and applied by clicking the "Filter" drop-down arrow. Filters allow you, the appraiser, to determine which data is not included when uploading.

6.   Select from one of the options (Upload to AppraisalPort, Upload to AIRD, Upload to Both AppraisalPort and AIRD

7.   If AppraisalPort is one of your selections, select the order that matches your appraisal from the list and click "OK"

8.   After the upload is complete, click the "Close" button on the AIRD/AppraisalPort Upload window (see figure 9-2).

Retrieve Property Information from AIRD:

1.   Start Nova Forms 5.1

2.   Select Connect | Retrieve AIRD Data

3.   Login to AIRD using your AIRD login and password

4.   Click the "Search the Database" button

5.   Fill in the desired search criteria and click the "Run Query" button

6.   Select a property from the resulting list

7.   Click "Make Subject" or "Add as Comp"

8.   Click "list view"

9.   Repeat steps 6-8 for additional properties

10. When finished selecting properties, click the green check in the upper left

11. On the "Select Report" dialog, choose the desired form type, and optionally a Report File Number. Note: if you leave "Report File Number" blank, a new appraisal will be cerated with the AIRD data.

12. Click the "OK" button

Upload a completed appraisal to AIRD:

1.   Open the desired file in Nova Forms

2.   Select Connect | Send Appraisal/Report | AIRD/AppraisalPort

3.   After the conversion is complete, the FNC ENvelope Uploader dialog will be displayed. Review the converted data by clicking the icons on the left of this dialog.

4.   After reviewing the converted data, click the "Send/Upload" button on the toolbar

5.   Verify the URL, ID, and Password, then click the "OK" button

6.   After the upload is complete, click the "Close" button on the "AIRD Upload" dialog
