Assigning Photos

There are a number of ways to assign photos to particular slots on photo and other addenda. The first way is by right-clicking on a photo in Nova Image, where a number of choices are found on the right-click menu (figure 9-1). From here the selected photo can be assigned to one of the pre-configured slots, such as Subject Front, Comparable Sale1, etc. Additionally, if the slot (Additional Photo Page, Interior Photo Page, Topographic Map, etc) where you wish to place the image is not listed, select the "Assign Wizard" option to display the Assign Wizard (see figure 9-2). The Assign Wizard will then guide you through attaching an image to the desired page. As you can see, the image can also be deleted from this menu.

Dragging and Dropping Photos

Photos can also be assigned to a particular slot on a photo or any other addendum that supports images via drag ‘n’ drop. To drag ‘n’ drop an image onto a photo page:

1.   Open the desired addendum from within Forms (click here for information on opening an addendum)

2.   Move the mouse over the photo in Nova Image

3.   Press the left mouse button down and drag the mouse cursor over to the desired "drop zone" on the photo addendum

4.   Release the left mouse button

TIP: Turning the Forms "Auto Zoom-to-Fit Photo Addendum " option on is helpful in drag ‘n’ drop situations.
