Audit an Appraisal
In order to check the information on an appraisal, you may want to use the Forms Auditor. The Auditor functions much like a spell checker in a word processor, but it checks for inconsistencies between pages of the report, missing items, and items exceeding Fannie Mae guidelines such as adjustments or square foot variances.
To audit the current appraisal:
1. Choose Utilities | Audit Entire Form. The Audit Report dialog box appears, as shown in Figure 4-14. Note: if a particular form has more than one auditor, the Audit Script Selection dialog (see figure 4-15) will appear first, requiring you to select one of its options.

2. A list of messages appears telling you about the audit that Nova Forms has performed. Any questionable items it finds are displayed in the left side of the box. To get more detail on a message, select it and the details appear on the right. The Prev Field and Next Field buttons allow you to move along in the forms spotting errors. The Print button allows you to print the Audit Report.
Note: Not all forms have an auditor, in which case the menu option will be grayed out.
