Field Attributes
The Field Attributes Dialog box allows you to set a variety of options for each field on a form.
To set Field Attributes globally for all fields, select Configuration | Default Field Attributes… from the menu. Please note that the Text Overflow options are not available globally, and must be set on individual fields. Nova Forms ships with comment fields already set to overflow into the Text Addendum.
To set Field Attributes on a specific field, with the cursor in the desired field select Field | Attributes… or right-click and select "Field Attributes".

Field Attribute Options:
Round to Nearest - Choose what degree of rounding you would like to have Forms perform on all numeric fields. We recommend that you do not set rounding options globally, but rather round particular fields. For example, you could round the value of a comparable house to the nearest hundred of dollars.
Common Responses - Choose how you would like Forms to handle the Common Response List for a field:
Auto insert field into response list - check this box to save yourself time in building up Common Responses lists. When this box is checked, Forms automatically inserts all responses entered into this field into that field’s common responses list. You may want to check the Auto insert field into response list during setup to help you quickly enter data into the Common Responses list for each field and then turn it off so that your Common Responses lists don’t become ridiculously long.
Auto assign hot key - Check this box to tell Forms to automatically assign a function key on the Hot Key Bar whenever a new response is entered into the Common Responses List and a function key is available.
NOTE: Only the first 6 responses for a field can go onto the Hot Key Bar as only function keys F3-F8 are used for hot keys. These and all the other responses are available from the drop-down list, which can be opened by clicking the down arrow at the right edge of the field or by pressing the F12 function key.
Auto popup on activate - Check this box if you would like the field’s common response list to automatically open when the cursor moves to the field. If you don’t check this box, you will have to click the arrow on the right hand side of the field to open the field’s common response list. Please note that this option has been temporarily disabled. In its place, the F12 function key can be used to drop down the Common Response list.
Suppress 0 - When this is checked, don’t print zeros for fields with no values.
Force Sign - When this is checked, Forms assigns a positive sign whenever no sign is entered. (Negative numbers will stay negative.)
