Configuring Adobe® Acrobat 5.0® for NOVA Forms
1. Double-click the "NOVA Forms" icon on your desktop.
2. Choose "Configure Portable Document Driver" from the "File" menu.

3. Using the drop-down menu to the right of "Printer", choose "Acrobat® PDFWriter".
4. Using the drop-down menu to the right of "Paper Size", choose "Legal".
5. Click "OK".
How to Send a PDF Appraisal through Email
Note: You may only mail PDF’s directly from NOVA if you use Microsoft® Outlook® 98, Microsoft® Outlook® 2000, or Microsoft® Outlook® Express 5. If you do not use one of these email programs, then you must export your PDF to "File" and include it as a file attachment in your email program. Skip directly to step 7.
1. Click "Start" "Settings" "Control Panel".
2. Double-Click on the "Internet Options" icon.
3. Click on the "Programs" tab.

4. Use the drop-down menu to the right of "E-mail" to choose your e-mail program.
5. Click "OK" to exit and save your changes.
6. Use the "X" in the upper right-hand corner to exit the "Control Panel". Note that you will only have to perform steps 1-6 the first time you mail a PDF.
7. Double-click on the "NOVA Forms" icon on your desktop to launch NOVA.
8. Click "Choose "Export" from the "File" menu.

9. Use the drop-down menu beneath "Choose Form" to select the type of Form you wish to export.
10. Use the drop-down menu beneath "Report File Number" to choose the file number of the report you wish to export.
11. On the left-hand side, where it says "Format", click on "PDF".
12. On the right-had side, where it says "Target", click on "Mail" (only if you have Outlook® 98/2000 or Outlook Express® 5) or "File".
13. Click "OK"
14. You may see a screen asking you to choose a "Print Package". If you have a previously configured print package, click on it to highlight it and click "Close". If you do not, simply click "Close"

15. You may organize the order of your appraisal by clicking on the section of the appraisal you wish to move, and clicking the "Up" or "Down" buttons to move it.
16. Click "OK".
17. If you have Outlook® 98/2000 or Outlook Express® 5 an email message will appear with your PDF attached to it. Enter your client’s email address, a subject, and any text you wish. If you have any other mail program, skip to step 19.

18. Click "Send" to send the appraisal to your client.
19. A window will appear asking you where you want to save your PDF file. A good place to save it is your desktop. To do so, choose "Desktop" from the drop-down menu to the right of "Save In".

20. Click "Save".
21. Use your email program to create a mail message to your client. Attach the PDF from your desktop and send it.
