Insert a Field into the Text Addendum

The Nova Text Addendum allows the insertion of fields from the main form and addenda. To insert a field:

1.   Select Insert | Field from either the menu or via the right-click menu. The "Insert Field" dialog is displayed (see figure below).

2.   Each form that is contained within the current appraisal is displayed. To view the sections and fields on these forms, double-click the "+" next to the desired entity. For example, to display the fields found in the Subject section of the URAR form, first double-click the plus next to "Uniform Residential Appraisal Report", then the "+" next to "Subject".

3.   To insert a field from this list, select the desired field, then click the "Insert" button. Repeat this step for all desired fields.

Other Options on the Insert Field dialog:

Alignment allows you to change how the field will align on the addendum using the Alignment radio buttons.

Visible - when checked the field is visible on the addendum. When unchecked the field is hidden.

Editable - when checked, you can edit the field on the addendum. When unchecked, the addendum writer will pull the information from the main form each time you open the addendum and you will not be able to edit the field yourself on just the addendum. To edit the field, you will need to edit it on the main form and then your change will appear on the addendum.

Ghost Line - when checked, a light line appears underneath the field so that it looks as though the field information has been filled in on a line. When unchecked, no line appears.

Fixed Width - when checked, the field is a fixed width on the addendum. When unchecked, the field takes up as much space as it needs.
