Installation Order / Installing Everything Else

Forms should be installed first. The Lighthouse Integration should be installed after Lighthouse. Other than these items, other products can be installed in any order.

If you are Reinstalling Forms

WARNING: If you are reinstalling the software, read Section 2.1 to find out about the files you should back up before you reinstall.

Before You Install

• Always backup your entire system before you install any new software. This will ensure minimal potential for loss of data as a result of unforeseen software or hardware problems. Important Note: if you are uninstalling any Nova products, you should backup your data, particularly AOD32.MDB, first.

• If you are installing Nova for the first time, make sure you’re system meets all the hardware and software System Requirements.

·              Exit out of any software you may be running on the PC where you are installing the Day One software.

• Some virus protection programs interfere with installation. Before you install any Day One software turn off any virus protection programs and screen savers that may be running.

• Make sure no Toolbars are active. To check whether you are running any other programs, hold down [Alt] and press [Tab] to cycle through all the programs you are running. Quit out of each program. If any other computers are sharing the PC’s hard drive, they must stop sharing.

·              Check that You Have Any Registration Codes or Passwords You Need: You will need a special password to use any of the "Protected Install Products." You will also need codes for WinSketch. Call Day One Sales, 1-800-438-3291, if you would like any of these products.

Installing more than one product?

Install Nova Forms first.

Nova Office: Do not install Nova Office on the same PC as Appraisal Manager™.

Protected Install Products

Protected Install Products require special codes for you to use them.

These products include:

·      Uniform Commercial/Industrial Forms

·      any Value Packs

·      PalmForms
