PalmForms and Nova Integration

Import Data from PalmForms into Nova Forms

1. HotSync the Palm device

2. In Nova Forms, select File | Import | PalmForms to display the Day One PalmForms Interface

3. Click the "Select Files" button and select the desired file(s). Hint: Ctrl-Click to select multiple files.

4. Click the "Open" button to close the "Open" dialog

5. Click the "Import" button

6. For each selected file, choose the appropriate file to update, or leave the "Report File Number" field blank to create a new appraisal with the next available number

7. Click the "OK" button to proceed

8. After all files have been imported, click the "Close" button to close the PalmForms Interface

Export Common Responses to the Palm

Common responses can be exported from Nova Forms to the Palm to more easily fill out the form on the Palm.

1. In Nova Forms, select File | Import | PalmForms to display the Day One PalmForms Interface

2. Select the "Export to Palm" Mode

3. Click the "Export Common Responses" button

4. On the Palm device, start the "Appraiser" application

5. Click the "Options" button

6. Check the "Import Common Responses" and "Replace Handheld" checkboxes

7. Click the "OK" button

8. HotSync the Palm device

Export Appraisal Files to the Palm

Nova Forms allows you to export appraisals to the Palm. This is most often used when the appraisal has been created from Nova Office, and populated with the basic form information, such as the property address.

1. In Nova Forms, select File | Import | PalmForms to display the Day One PalmForms Interface

2. Select the "Export to Palm" Mode

3. Click the "Select Files" button and select the desired file(s). Hint: Ctrl-Click to select multiple files.

4. Click the "Open" button to close the "Open" dialog

5. Click the "Export" button

6. After all selected files are exported, click the "Close" button

7. HotSync the Palm device
