Other Features of Nova Image

Auto Close Image on Assign: Found on the Options menu, this option will automatically close an image after it has been assigned. This occurs whether the image is assigned via drag ‘n’ drop, right-click assign, or the Assign Wizard.

Open Images as Thumbnails: Also found on the Options menu, if this option is set, Nova Image will attempt to open thumbnails found embedded in images, rather than the image itself. Not all cameras or image formats support the embedding of thumbnails, so if any errors occur with this setting turned on, simply turn it off. WARNING: Do not resize an image that has been opened as a thumbnail!

Resize: Found on the Image menu, this allows the selected image to be resized. Note: it is recommended to leave the "Keep Aspect" option checked on the Resize Image dialog.

Rotate: Images can be rotated via the Image | Rotate sub-menu

Sharpen, Brightness, Contrast: The attributes of an image can be changed by selecting Image | Change Attributes.

Crop Images: Images can be cropped by holding down the Shift key and dragging the mouse cursor from the upper left of the desired region to the lower right. Once this region has been defined (a dashed rectangle will be visible), select the Image | Crop menu option.
