Saving Comparables to the Database
If you might want to reuse the subject or comparable information in your current appraisal, store the data in the comparables database. This can save you re-typing the data in the future.
To copy your current appraisal’s subject and/or comparables information into the comparables database:
NOTE: The Save to Comps Database command is not available unless you have a form open with addresses filled in for the subject and comp(s).
TIP: Use the AutoSave to Comps Database option to automatically save your comparables. See the AutoSave topic for more information.
1. When you have added as much information as possible for the subject and/or comparables you want to store in the Comps database, select Database | Save to Comps Database.
2. The Comparables database appears with a tab for each of the comparables and subject in your current appraisal.

3. If you would like to make any changes to the information that will be entered in the database, click the tab of the information you would like to change and edit the information. Any changes you make will be stored in the database, but will not be moved back to your current appraisal.
4. Click OK. The Select Comps to Save box appears, as shown in Figure 5-7.

5. Make sure there is a check next to each comp you would like to add to the Comps database. If you do not want to add a Comp, remove its check by clicking on it.
6. Click OK to save the data in the Comps database.
TIP: If you update a comp in your current form, you can add the new information to the comps database using the Save Comps command to overwrite the comps.
