Using TWAIN

Many digital cameras and scanners come with a TWAIN driver for acquiring images. Nova Image has access to any 32-bit TWAIN driver installed on your system. You can see which TWAIN drivers are installed on your system, and configure Nova Image to use that source, by using the File | Select TWAIN Source menu option.

Once a TWAIN source is configured, the "Interactive TWAIN" and "Download TWAIN" options on the QuickStart Bar will interface with the TWAIN driver. Please note that one or both of these options may not work with all TWAIN drivers, due to the implementation of the TWAIN driver itself. If neither option works with your camera, you may need to acquire the images on the camera using a different software application. Most cameras come with some type of software that allows you to acquire images. Please consult the manual that came with your camera.
